This year all students in grades 5 - 12 will be assigned a Chromebook.
Parents/guardians of high school students already completed necessary forms as part of the online registration process. For middle school students, the forms will be available at the Kick-Off next week (8/19), or students will bring them home to be signed.
High school students can take their Chromebooks home. Nothing is changing for that building with how our one-to-one Chromebook program has worked in the past.
At the middle school, students will use the device that is assigned to them throughout the school day. Then it will be returned before they leave each day. They will use the same device all year.
Parents may choose to purchase insurance for the Chromebooks for $20 for the year. The insurance covers accidental damage or loss, and theft. See the image above and schooldevicecoverage.com for full information.
Parents can purchase insurance even before the student has the device. You can update the insurance information with the serial number and model of Chromebook once it is assigned.
Please contact Mike Petty or the building principal if you have any questions.
